Councilwoman Reynolds Brown has been a long time champion of children and youth, the arts and culture community, and small business development. She is now an emerging leader in energy conservation and environmental matters and is infusing her policy initiatives to reflect this new and important priority.

The African American Chamber of Commerce celebrated its 15th anniversary yesterday with the grand opening of new offices at 30 S. 15th St. Cutting the ribbon (from left) is Delilah Winder, Chamber chairwoman, Evelyn F. Thursday, May 8, 2008 The African American Museum in Philadelphia, presents, Raymond W. Holman, Jr., Portraits of Caregivers, Exhibition Opening and Reception. Raymond W. Holman, Jr., renowned Philadelphia photographer, whose father died as the result of Alzheimer’s disease, recognized that caregivers need to be celebrated. This exhibition is tribute to their dedication.

The Raymond W. Holman, Sr. Alzheimer’s & Dementia Caregivers Conference, Put Love Around You (PLAY)®, will take place on Tuesday, May 20, 2008, at the African American Museum.
